Initiate Stored Procedures from Lotus Script

Hi Every one,

Its been a tough 6 month so far, one of a very challenging project with no freeze in requirements.  Anyway hope life is treating you all good.

Have you ever initiated a stored procedure from lotus script? I have been thinking about how to do this before 4 months and happened to know a SQL/Notes developer, who taught me how to do that.

Its pretty simple and straight forward.

I did use Lotus Notes connectivity to to achieve this.

In SQL

——-

CREATE procedure [dbo].[Procedure_GetName]
as
BEGIN
SET NOCOUNT ON;
SELECT DISTINCT
Table2.Name
FROM
Table1 WITH(NOLOCK) INNER JOIN
Table2 WITH(NOLOCK)
ON Table1.ID = Table2.ID
ORDER BY Table2.Name ASC
END

In Lotus Script this is how you call that procedure.

Lotus Script

—————

varQuery = |Procedure_GetName | ‘– This is the procedure Name

Call Src.Execute (varQuery ,Params)

Then the rest you guys must be knowing it.

Please use this in your project if you find it useful

Cheers,

Kamalraj
